Now I've seen plenty of videos on how to text a girl but I've never seen a video on how to approach a girl through text you haven't met before. The videos that are labeled this just say have confidence, be the man blah blah but none of that actually helps when it comes to initiating that first message to grab their attention and maintain a fun conversation.

I have approached a few girls through snap chat and I'll be like ''Hey do you work at (Location'' or ''Hey you look familiar? Do i know you from somewhere?'' and we get a few lines into each other and then the boring replies start rolling in like one-word answers or not continuing the conversation bearing in mind we've only been talking a few lines to each other.

Im 17, their isnt many social events like parties in my area and im single and turning 18 in 6 months so i want to work on my game. I want to get out their get some experience with some girls as a casual thing. My only way of really getting out their is approaching through text. I do plan to approach girls in public if i see them and say ''Hey I'm new to the area blah blah.''

Im asking your redditors for some tips and examples of how i can go around doing this better and have a high success rate?
