Who else wants to vomit?! lol I know this is likely off topic, but maybe not.

He's a friend I've had for years, and recently something happened that made me reframe that I was sitting on my ass. I've been trying to be more open, and this subreddit has helped. I'm approaching more people out in the wild, which is great. Now though, I've used the same techniques and tips to get over that hump about telling him that I like him, and ask if we can maybe be more than friends.

That approach anxiety though. Regardless of being out or in, taking seconds or days, it's a constant fight to not avoid approaching. The fear of rejection can be overwhelming at times.

Breathe through it, make the approach. The worst thing that can happen is that you don't close. ( Even if it makes you feel like you want to vomit :D )

Anyone have stories of an approach that made them feel this anxious?
