I’m a fan of black jeans paired with a black t-shirt. White basic sneakers and a silver watch. This is my “uniform.”

I think an all black outfit is a statement. A lot of people can pull it off. Stains are easy to avoid—animal hairs not so much. Keep a lint roller ready.

The devil is in the details, so find your accessories to accentuate your personality.

I'm trying to perfect the suit jacket, vest and skinny jeans look at the moment - without looking like a prick or a chav.

My go to look is tight white t-shirt, pair of decent fitting jeans and either smart shoes or nice trainers fluke Ralph Lauren)

If I'm wearing a shirt - a couple of buttons too many loosened.

Look at chrismehan on instagram, his buttoned-down office casual look not his T shirt and sneaker look. Slim fit or athletic fit collared shirt and neat, slim fit or skinny jeans or chinos, nice leather oxfords or similar dress shoes. Belt and watch strap matching the shoes. Shirt untucked and sleeves rolled up unless it's a dress shirt and the occasion is more formal. I always wear nice patterned socks never white socks. Black socks with a black outfit or a black tux which I sometimes wear for work.

For casual occasions like BBQs I wear dressy shorts, a nice well fitted T shirt (collared or plain) and nice canvas shoes ... not sure what the style is called sort of canvas deck shoes, with invisible socks.

It's important when you have a nice look to wear it all the time and never go out like a slob. The other day I was literally slobbed out all day with no reason to dress up. But I had to walk the dogs so I dressed sharp as if for the office or a social occasion. Good thing too because I ran into this hot babe living in my neighborhood that I like to low-key game and she was dressed to the 9's coming home from a shopping trip. The crisp chinos, nice shirt, rolled up sleeves with nice watch and especially the awesome shoes went over well.

My usual uniform:

skinny or slim fit jeans
well fitted t-shirt or shirt
canvas converse or DrMarteens boots or minimal sneakers (such as old adidas ones)
leather jacket and/or hoodie

At 42, I’m mostly unable to wear different styles, if not for particular occasions.
