Around 2008, back when I was 18, I used to sometimes get asked by older people (such as my driving instructor and friends of my mom) if I had a girlfriend.
I would normally answer with a flat "no" which would sometimes prompt a follow up question of "why not", which, of course, I had no answer for.
It appeared to me that these baby boomers thought that meeting women was easy. I think even in 2008 it was very hard due to feminism which was well into the 3rd wave at the time, with countless articles in the guardian newspaper that my mom reads on feminism that made me feel like never starting.
Well I didn't, until last year, when I made the brave step to become a day gamer.
Since passing around 25, some women ( I don't meet many at all) have asked me if I have kids and again, such a question absolutely boggles my mind. One I can remember was a prostitute I paid.
It still boggles my mind that reality is so different. I don't even know how to meet women, let alone have sex with them!
So yeah, it seems that most people in society don't realize reality for most guys.
