Hi, 17 year old male here. (the girl is about the same age or one year old less)
I guess there's no objective answer for this question but I want to hear your opinions...
One day, I just finished doing a piano exam in the conservatory. In this exam, we play 3 pieces of music in front of the rest of the piano students (one of the students was her).
After I got out of the room and was about to leave the building, she came to me and told me how good I played the piano. She asked my name and what year I was on and told me that I totally humiliated the rest of the pianists. I (a stupid shy boy) replied with a: haha you played very well too, and then we said goodbyes. Of course I was flattered and thought she was just friendly. She was very smiley and a bit shy but confident enough to tell me that.
To be honest, it's the first time this happened, no girl ever told me that nor approached me.
The thing is that now I got to like this girl, she's really great, and I was thinking if I missed a chance by not talking her back again when I saw her the next time. I'm a very shy person and introvert, and I don't speak too much either (I never know how to carry on a conversation).
A lot of months have passed, the summer holidays have passed and yesterday I saw her again for the first time in like 3 months. But of course we didn't say a word to each other cause we basically don't know each other. She approached me that time but I missed the chance to approach her back so now we're basically strangers. I don't know what to do now.
The only thing I had planned was waiting until the next exam and do the same that she did too me, approach her to tell her how good she was in the piano. Or maybe befriend some girls that know her that go to my class. (and yes, I've been unlucky enough to be in a different class than her, so I will only be seeing her once every 3 months).
I really want to hear your opinions.
