This might be a strange question, but I'm 21, and so get shown similarly age girls on Tinder, and I feel like the selection I'm shown is just so boring. Just a ton of girls with a really basic and boring bios with just their Instagram or SnapChat handle. And then when I do match with one it's not uncommon for them to just kind of put no effort.

So when I see a lot of funny conversations on /r/tinder, it makes me wonder if it's guys maybe in their later twenties matching with girls in the same age group who may be at that point all ready to settle down a little bit more and are willing to engage more.

So that's all I'm wondering. Is the fact that I see so many uninteresting Tinder profiles due to my age, my location maybe, my attractiveness, the algorithm, or maybe a combination of them all?
