I've been the girl in that type of situation. And the last thing I want is someone trying to convince me when I've already said I don't want to have sex.

Well Sex is not an immaterial thing. You don’t just do it and be done with it. It’s an interaction of two highly complex biological systems/entities. You don’t just “have sex”.
