I've been seeing(fucking) this girl for about 3 weeks now, so I guess you could consider her a plate. Met her a month ago. I do really like her though- young (20 to my 26), doesn't have a Facebook, isn't glued to her phone, very submissive and she likes the music I do, which is a must for me. LTR potential. Last time I saw her was the weekend before last. I told her I was going to be out of town this past weekend, and hadn't talked to her since she left my place last Saturday around noon.

I get a text on Thursday night around 11 that just says "Aptway". No elaboration, no follow-up, nothing. She might've forgotten I was out of town that weekend since I'd been hitting her up on Thursday and hanging out on Friday. My non-TRP friends think she likes me and was trying to start a conversation/build some emotional connection with me. I know that with plates you generally want to only text for logistics, so I didn't respond. I ignored the text until the following day and responded "? what's up". Didn't hear anything back from her. My friends said I fucked up with my response (she's going to think you're not interested or are just using her for sex!), but I think it's better to have the hamster wondering if you like her or not rather than being too friendly.

I set something up with her for this week, but the text was still quite weird to me. I'm considering asking her about it, but paying it too much mind probably sends the wrong message too. What does it mean?
