I've met this girl through our common friends and we've started texting since a couple of months. We both like cooking so since a month I've been inviting her to my appartment to cook and watch some netflix after eating together.

I've been trying to escalate things but she's a shy girl and doesn't show my if she's comfortable with my actions. When we're sitting in the sofa (2 person-sofa so we're sitting kinda close) I've put my arm behind her, she doesn't mind that but she acts like nothing happened. I sit closer to her and try to make the conversation a bit more intimate but she always turns it into a stale conversation ..

This is my first time "dating" (rather trying) a shy girl so I don't know how to approach her without making it weird for her. She's been coming over 2-3 times a week for the past month so I think she's at least interested.
