The reason why I've killed off that version of myself is because I felt like it might be a bit out there or socially uncalibrated. Being average-looking with not the deepest voice, I feel like I have even less of a window to pull off my type of comedy without coming off as too goofy/immature. On the other hand, it's fun for me and it allows me to connect to other people on a human level while possibly providing value. It's just that I've rarely seen "alpha" or high value types with this personality/archetype.

Examples of my type of comedy:

(1) Looking the cashier when I'm buying something and just smiling/chuckling in a joking way and saying: "You look like you're dying inside right now. You good?". (based off of the the context/tonality, it'd be implied i'm talking about working in retail, and only if they look tired). Or if they look happy, telling them, "you look a bit too happy right now. Did you just start your shift?". Basically just messing around and asking them questions on a human level, as long as there's no managers around for them to feel uncomfortable answering honestly. I'd find it funny and if they're not uptight, they might to and it might help uplift them or something.

(2) The other day my dad asked for what I had to eat and asked if I ate fast food. And I responded sarcastically, "I bit of fast food, but now that I think about it, there was definitely some slow food mixed in there. The medium speed food I didn't get to unfortunately.". And it's fucking retarded but it makes me feel good when I say shit like that. Whereas IRL, I don't let that part out because I feel like it's a bit too much.

(3) I was having a discussion with my mom about something and I forgot to control myself and it got a bit heated but it wasn't an angry heated it was more of those things where you're excited in a discussion and you raise your voice. Then my narcissist sister tries to cause drama by trying to attack my insecurities by butting into the convo. I don't react at all but I look at her and say in the most sarcastic way "well hey, nice of you to join the conversation. I'm happy you were able to let your feelings out. It's important to let your feelings out sometimes".

(4) If I felt like I wouldn't creep people out by doing this, I would go up to a chick and point somewhere random and be like "excuse me, did you just see THAT!?". And then she'd likely respond "see what?". And then I'd just say "Exactly" and sit down and then introduce myself. The fact that they'd be so mindfucked and confused about what just happened would be the funniest shit to me.

As you can see, it's a bit lighthearted, sarcastic, random/retarded, and kind of comes off as a monologue/improv but spoken to the other person. Was I correct in killing off that part of myself based off of how far it goes? Or could I leverage it for my SMV?
