So I asked out one of my girl best friends, specifically the one from this post I made back in the summer. I was too nervous back then to do it and call it a date, I was nervous because I never really asked out friends. So I guess you could consider this post a really late follow up.

I saw this post the other day about actually getting out there and approaching and OP basically said to approach women and stop being a pussy and that inspired me a lot. People telling me to basically man the fuck up usually helps boost my drive. So then today my friend John said I should go for it so I went for it having that post in mind. I flirted with her a bit, then told her I liked her and asked her on a date. She asked John if it was a joke and I texted her saying no it wasn’t, but she rejected me anyway. Why she asked if it was a joke if she was gonna reject me anyway confuses me but whatever. She’s really single (like me but I have some experience in talking to girls) and very introverted, so maybe it was a shock to her.

The confidence booster here is I asked out a friend which is something a lot of men on here (or men in real life in general) probably couldn’t even do. The confidence killer is that if I couldn’t get a girl who isn’t getting any guys, how am I gonna get a girl who actually has a lot of options. Oh well, sucks to suck.

So she hasn’t said anything to me since she rejected me. I’ll let her hit me up first if she wants to talk about it. Remember, we’re friends still, so I’m not just gonna go no contact. So that’s it, that’s all that happened when the big moment came. I got told “I’m not into you”. That’s it guys, may as well shoot your shot.
