Long story short - I (32m) ended a decade long relationship a few months back. We were engaged but the passion was gone, no infidelity or hard feelings. Clean break, I’m over it and looking forward to the next chapter of my life. I’m in good shape, good job, confident, solid conversationalist and generally have my shit together.

I’ve had no trouble meeting and approaching women, getting dates IRL and with apps, etc. I’m really not looking for ONS (though not opposed to it) but definitely not looking for a LTR either. Probably something in between, and I’m not exactly sure what that looks like or could be yet.

It seems like the majority of the women I’m attracting are early thirties, high status and looking for something a bit more serious. I’ve been on 5 dates so far with several more lined up from OkCupid/Hinge etc.

I’m super honest and up front about my breakup and that I have no idea what I want, or how any of this works - but is that the way I should be handling this situation? Should I just avoid these dates in the first place, even if they’re willing to meet up?

I genuinely enjoy their company, we have fun together and obviously want to hook up with them, but I’m not really ready to commit to anything right now.

Just looking for a little guidance or to hear stories from other guys in their 30s who have been in a similar situation.
