Around guys who are aggressive or the gang type, I often hesitate and censor myself so I don't get into trouble.
I don't like doing this, but it seems stupid to ignore the obvious possibility that they're actually not stable and standing up for myself too hard could result in some trouble.
Thoughts?
Edit: even at the workplace, the kind of guy who says I'll kick your head in with a smile, I never know whether to take him seriously or not. Note that this isn't some corporate, so they might very well be from that kind of background.
I expect law to usually be a deterrent, but if the guy cares less about the punishment than for his anger, then what are my options? Its like a bully who you know is unbalanced.
