That doesn’t matter. You could have said it right away and he’d just be elated that he doesn’t have to play some annoying, drawn out courtship game.

The number one mistake girls make is assuming that we’re at all like you. We don’t think like you. We prefer when you’re direct because it tells us you’re a girl that might actually know what she wants and shows maturity. Which every girl says she’s all about but 99% clearly aren’t.

As a caveat, DO NOT PRESS THE MATTER. The second mistake girls always make is pestering about where things are going, which is one of the few things that can really deter a guy. Share how you feel and move forward. No guy wants to have the same conversations about that shit every time he talks to you because you’re so eager to move things along. I can’t tell you how annoying that is. Allow yourself to grow on him organically, just be patient and don’t be annoying.

Too early is when you just met him. The other thing is, it often happens that when you start banging someone everything is great. But that wears out and the time it takes for that to happen seems to vary from person to person. But you'll know. I'd say, wait a little bit and watch him carefully. Are you sure how you feel about him? If so and you want to share, do it. But I'd recommend not to have any expectations.

Honestly, it depends how much he likes you--but there's little downside in holding off for a couple months. You might scare him away if you do it way too early, but if he likes you, he will definitely not be scared away if you don't do it.
