A week into buying the car I have a brief FR and some observations.

1) Have had more frequent, kinkier sex in the last week than ever before 2) Displaying my SMV with a purchase of this magnitude has made her feel like she has increased SMV as well. She is relishing being seen in the car (she hamsters my success into something she accomplished) 3) Being older and more patient, I have explicitly refrained from telling anyone we socialize with that I got the car. I watch her writhe in these situations because she can't wait to tell people I bought it. She has followed me lead and maintained a respectful dignity, but barely. 4) I have not been shit tested or comfort tested yet, but have made sure to preempt with additional comfort, creating future plans for experiences we will enjoy together in the car.

All in all - good so far and appreciate the answers the community provided.
