Honestly, after reading post after post of just getting to the point, and having the confidence to ask for a number. I can say I finally got one, but not one; two.

The first was a girl who I hit it off with on a singles horse back riding trip ( who wasn't in our group, but was instead our guide), and the other a girl on tinder on the way home.

Rather than bother with small talk, getting to the point with both of them seemed to be magic. I just took a "what's the worst that can happen" attitude and went for it.

So thanks fellas, and to those of you who are thinking there's a sweet spot to it. There's not in my opinion. Look your best, and just go for it. The effort alone speaks volume in my experience.
