Yes, there is also a technique you can use. It's a bit counter-intuitive.

When you freeze up, it has nothing to do with the person you are talking to or the over all situation. It's all about something that you feel and believe about yourself. There are two parts to this.

First part, you only freeze up when you feel a sexual connection. Think about it. At some point, both of you are comfortable and, for the most part, not self-conscious. But then, it naturally escalates as long as there is a level of attraction. At that point, as a man, it's your job to express interest and your intentions. (In many cases, you should have already done that)

That's where the second part comes in. You probably have negative connotations about your sexual desire. For example, she will be offended if you kiss her too quickly. (In reality, it's not about how soon you kiss her but how comfortable she is with you. So, some girls will make out with you before you say hello, others will not kiss you till you go on a date. )

So, here is what you've got to do. When you are by yourself, relax and close your eyes. Think about a time when you froze up. Focus on the emotions, the anxiety, frustration, whatever you feel. Feel where it is in your body. Then stay with that emotion, no matter how much it hurts.

It may take a few times of doing this exercise. It may take you into a rabbit hole but ignore the thoughts. At all times, focus on the feeling and the physical sensations. Your brain will work out the issues for you.

You will find that you'll progress faster with what you want. In fact, you may even forget that you used to freeze up in these situations!
