Most people never approach anyone.

Not because they lack balls or anything but because there is a shame culture about anything related to pickup. Many women say they don't want to be "tricked" into anything just because a man "appears" confident. Or they immediately assume the man is doing this just for attention and validation - as if that judgement would remove the legitimacy from doing so. Or they immediately assume the guy doin it would be creep that doesn't stop after being rejected. Because that's a regular experience for women because most of the people left that actually try to approach, pick up and seduce random girls in the streets are the ones that completely ignore the value judgement of other people. In other words: sociopaths. The consequences of toxic feminism...

Many men are wholly brainwashed about it and share those outlandish views. For many men jealousy is a thing too. Gosh, I can't reacall the amount of times my peers said something like "oh this guy, he just has to compensate for something he is lacking lol" or "what a douche! I'd never just go for sex!" while the guy saying that didn't have sex in 2 years.

Cognitive dissonance is so incredibly strong in so many people and they're caught in denial and rationalise everything away. It's unbelievable but once you've seen it you can't unsee it.

Personally I feel extremely disconnected from humanity over that because I know 90% of women and 70% of men won't share my views. At least not consciously, their unconscious does.

approach, sure. I've found though that women are very mercurial. most are extremely emotionally draining with the constant shit tests and it's not fun.

Sure. Everyone's mileage varies.

The long story short is that most people actually like socializing, but socializing is supposed to be a two-way exchange and some guys approach it as if it's something to conquer. They go into it pushing a clear agenda without any concern for what the other person is about.

It's the unintentional lack of concern for the other party in the interaction, that causes many of the problems.
