Men in recent years don’t feel the need to be a father figure, which impacts the way men and women perceive their relationships, the way men interact with women in a platonic or romantic fashion, and so on.

In addition, things like media have influences too. With so many dating gurus and advice out there, people are getting things mixed up, and instead of being natural, things are seemingly more forced.

Of course, dating apps are a nonstarter. They’ve killed confidence in many men, many of which are very average (and not ugly), whom have a chance with plenty of women out there in the real world.

Don’t get demoralized or discouraged. What we now call "incels" used to be called AFC's, which stood for "average frustrated chumps," so it’s not really a new thing that many, even most guys don’t get much sex. We teased was each other with the AFC title to motivate improvement, not to beat each other down. Healthy young guys tend to want sex and lots of it. I bet the no-sex group are still whacking to porn and fantasizing about girls they see. Don’t give up, guys. The fact that you’re on a seduction subreddit is a good sign.

The typical lame-ass advice in this subreddit is to either (1) engage in inner self-development or (2) "hit the gym" in order to get good at seduction. This advice is now demonstrably shitty and has motivated me to write this post. Since Morons doubt that the answer lies elsewhere, I’ve included some science that points out just how epicly bad and clueless today's young men are as proven by their horrific outcomes regarding seduction performance.

This all makes me want to explain in plain English a much more direct, simple, and effective way to think about seduction.

A good seducer is to sex like a good comedian is to laughter. Once you’re funny enough, you can make people laugh. It doesn’t matter that they didn’t intend to laugh when they met you. It doesn’t matter that they didn’t know you could make them laugh until you did. Laughter's an emotional reaction, almost like a reflex. And sex is also an emotional reaction/reflex. This is the secret seducers know well.

So sex and laughter are similar phenomena. Seduction is about getting people to respond with sex the way comedy is about getting them to respond with laughter.

KEY POINT-->Notice that neither effective seduction nor effective comedy depends on "hitting the gym" or your current proximity to self-acceptance and self-actualization. CLUE THE FUCK IN. Comedy and seduction are just skill sets that can be used in many different contexts.

From true love to fucking for fun, the context of seduction is up to you--once you learn to seduce. No need to go through philosophical inner game contortions or "hit the gym" fitness advice, just learn and apply effective seduction. This is called learning Game, and there is no shortcut or substitute if you want to get good and have your pick of women, sex, etc.

Cold approach pickup is pretty advanced Game. The PUA community discusses it, so it grew to have a sort of elevated status. But from what I read in this subreddit, you guys don’t really have Game and few of you are really reading, studying, and applying yourselves to develop it, so cold approach pickup is a low-success path to frequent rejections.

So start with something easier like social circle game. Get some real world experience. Get a good wingman. Learn more types of Game from there.
