Alpha isn't something assigned to you when you enter a profession. It's how you conduct yourself. Anyone can spin plates in or out of any profession.

On a side note what you really should be concerning yourself with is the low pay and dismal future income growth that the teaching profession as a whole offers.

I live in England so take this with a pinch of salt.

One of the most alpha men I ever knew was an English literature teacher in high school. As a student that man was an alpha inspiration and since then he is certainly a man I consider a target/hero.

Being surrounded by females in a professional environment isn't good for your psyche. You will be shit tested all the time if you seem moderately alpha, sexual harassment is a thing now. And as a teacher, you'll be around kids and will have to be careful of people spreading rumors about you and the kids. That won't stop being a problem until we have more male teachers.

On the plus side, if you play your cards right, there's mad social circle game. You can't date the other teachers, but you can date their friends. On the downside, teachers can be 25-75; you have like a 5-year window for dating.

Teaching is a great profession for scoring because you are in a female dominated occupation. You can definitely be alpha and be a teacher or anything else. You should really be concerned with your salary wage and benefits that a teacher receives.

Being a teacher is great for SMV. You're doing something you like, you're mentoring younger kids, you're an authority figure, maybe you help oversee some after school activities to keep you busy.

High school teacher is very respectable and can be alpha as fuck. Really, any occupation can be alpha as fuck. Just enjoy it, be passionate when you talk about it and talk about it as if you're the equivalent of a cop or something.

I'm an accountant, career full of beta losers and nerds. But I don't fit that stereotype so the contrast gets women intrigued. Generally, I don't talk about work with women i'm seeing in too much detail. I prefer talking about other stuff that interests me.
