Instead of sending hi or whats up in a message , what do you guys send to chicks as a first message

Well from my experience there’s gotta be a medium like you shouldn’t start off with only a hey or a hi nor should you send some detailed paragraph in the first text that’s guaranteed to get you ghosted lol there’s gotta be a balance you don’t wanna start off by talking too much I’m going to assume you’re talking about tinder or bumble so my suggestion would be to comment on something significant in one of their photos something you can relate to you gotta keep it interesting

Hi is usually a bog standard opener best start with something that you can see from their profile they like doing or a witty comment on a picture, since I'm sure they get hey, hi, how are you all the time. Need to stand out from the crowd with the opener

I’ve tried sending a really nice thoughtful paragraph just being honest with why I’m messaging them... that works about 20% of the time but when it does the girl generally really appreciates it.

I’ve tried sending something cheeky... that gets a response about 50% of the time but they usually aren’t invested and never reply again

So yeah I think the answer is somewhere in the middle. Maybe something like a question about her dog along with a little joke thrown in

I read their bio, then ask them some thing that I am genuinely interested in about them. It seems to work pretty well.

Girl here, NEVER just say hi. It's a sign that the convo is going to be very boring and dry. I'd only rwpky to that if I like someone, bored, or they are family or a close friend.

Before messaging them think about why you want to talk to them. Whats made you think about messaging them? Maybe incorporate that as ling as its nothing creepy. Think about what you already know about them and ask a question about it.

To keep a convo going that isnt dry, before you send a message ask yourself how would you respond if you got this text. Can they even reply to it?

I think its fine to say "hey, whats up?" but not as the very first message. It can work butthe more effort you put in the more you'll get out of the convo.

As a woman I cannot tell you how many times I’ve received “hi” “sup” “wyd”. Please don’t do any of those.

If you use Instagram, reply to a story (We obsess over our highlight reels and stories)

I cannot stress enough that texting my cell over using any other platform to “slide in” is way better for me personally.

Anything that’ll tease her in related of what you guys talked about in person. Use texting as a tool to setup dates but also use it lightly and playfully hence (flirting/teasing). Remember you wanna get to know her in person and not on the phone. Keeps the tension high dude. Good luck man
