My first post ever on Reddit

I (19M) went to the beach to see if I could finally get over my anxiety when it comes to approaching attractive women.

I knew I wouldn't be good at the beginning so I chose to do baby steps. I just walked up and approached different strangers 4 times. Some were in groups or pairs and some were solo. I asked them all if they had seen a certain person that I descirbed but was completely made up in my head.

It wasn't about the responses I would get it was about me taking action. I got the same response each time but that didn't matter.

Most of my approaches were men but I did approach a few girls.

This experience was really nice to go through. Walking up and talking to someone is easier than I had anticipated. I hope I could do this more regularly in the future.
