"Everybody says like you gotta wait, it'll come by itself. Nah bs. For some people maybe, but not for me and a lot of other guys."
How do you know? You're 18 for saying it out loud. The people who are older than you and say those things, they say it because they've experienced it.
Your problem is not this girl, but your low self-confidence, self hate, and anxiety. Not all of that is in your control, with your OCD and all, but this girl is not what you want to be pursuing right now.
First you gotta accept that you don't know this girl, and you probably just like her because of her physical appearance. That's ok! But there are many beautiful girls out there, so getting fixated on one is well, a bad place to be. The only way you'll find out if she's into you, is to tell her, but since she's not responding to your messages I'd honestly just let it go.
Second, you're already very successful in life. Earning more than your teachers is one hell of a feat at 18. You have something to be proud about more than almost anyone at your age.
I'd suggest something like this:
You gotta work on your confidence / self-esteem. And there's no easy fix. It's different for everyone, but some people have success with working out, hanging out with people who share their hobbies, pushing themselves out of their comfort zone etc.
You should learn about attraction in general. I'd suggest reading "Models" by Mark Manson, or if you're a lot more analytical in mind, How to be a 3% Man, by Corey Wayne.
You gotta understand that there are thousands of girls out there that are great for you, and as long as you, a pretty successful and sporty guy, just own it and muster up some confidence, you won't have trouble finding a relationship.
I will admit though, I don't know enough about OCD to say how much it impacts dating, so maybe if some OCD people could chime in that could be cool. But since you're managing it sort of well with sport, I'd say keep trying to manage it as well as you can.
I barely had any success with girls in high school and I'd be lying if I say it wasn't a bit bummed about it. But since I've had many wonderful experiences and yeah, better late than never I suppose? I'm only 22 but I still have a lot of youth ahead of me. You got even more time, if you start now. We have to simply focus on the things in life we can change, as opposed to what we cannot change.
Good luck broski

Touching on the working on ur self esteem thing, I'm going to point out that you have a really unique thing as a hobby and it's lead u to get a good job that makes equal to or as stated "more than" teachers who've studied for years to get where they're at, and ur just 18... If that isn't a great conversation piece and an ego boost i dont know what is. Even I was like wow I'd love to hear someone tell me about this if I met them at a bar and im a straight 22M. So recognise this and let it give u even the littlemost confidence to motivate u. The way to get better with women is to yes do a bit of 'study' with the books that are suggested in this comment and subreddit but MAINLY to fkn get out there and go talk to people! Depending on where you're from, being 18 you can go to bars and socialise or just find places where you're comfortable in and its appropriate to approach people and just say hi and have a quick convo with them. Practice makes perfect and you can start by just approaching guys your age and having friendly convo with them first and build your way up. Its all about experience.

Yeah, the end goal is certainly to start getting out there and socializing, but studying a bit first is always a good idea. No need to start chopping the wood if you axe is blunt. Just don't sharpen it forever ;P

It can impact everything in your life. But luckilly that has bettered now for me.
Thanks for the advice.
One question tho: Wouldn't I live with a lot of regret later on, if I wouldn't try asking her?

I'm surprised at the similarities. You remind me alot of myself when I was a sophomore in HS (I'm 29 now). I also have a form of OCD. I'm going to presume your also the introverted techie type who is very smart but lacking in the social skills (you say you sell apps).
There was a girl in my biology class I had a crush on, but had a hell of a time getting myself to talk to. I would write long pages in my Journal about how disappointed I was in myself. I think people with OCD are naturally critical of themselves, their actions, and their failures. Obsessing over girls is no exception.
While I have not met you or know anything else about your story, I'll do the best I can.
Your very concerned with what people think about you. You learn to tame that as you get older. In the meantime, it makes it very hard to talk to people in general and especially girls. If social skills is an issue, I would advise talking to a certain amount of people each day. Try to remove your filter. Its ok to say the wrong thing sometimes, people will usually forget about it anyway. You can always apologize later.
I highly recommend looking up daygame on youtube. This has helped me improve myself a lot, and opened many new opportunities.
Don't worry too much about your appearance. Girls don't care about that as much as guys. If it needs work though try to improve it. Maybe go to the gym, there's alot of hot girls there.
For the OCD thing, I don't know what kind of issues you have. Realize that nothing is going to happen if you don't act on these thoughts. The best way is to distract yourselves with something else.
You managed to get her friended on FB so that's a big plus. I tried friending my old crush on FB but had no luck. If you miss your opportunity now, you might be able to get with her later once your a little older and have more experience.
Lastly, start finding a girlfriend now. Cause the older you get the more girls your age will be married off. Then you'll end up being one of those 30 something cradle snatchers.

You got most things about me right. But I'm extroverted when I'm with friends and introverted when I'm at school or with other people that I don't really know.
I think people with OCD are naturally critical of themselves, their actions, and their failures. Obsessing over girls is no exception.
Yeah makes sense now
My OCD is about illnesses. I used to get images of people with cancer or just thoughts about me getting cancer 24/7. My OCD is actually very good right now compared to all the other years.(maybe because I started taking medication. I only take a small dose tho)
Btw thanks a lot for the advice.

Looks like your in a click. I get upset at those kind of people who act all quiet with me, and then turn around and talk and laugh with their friends. It makes people feel excluded.
Try to be more inclusive. Get used to talking with strangers. This will also help with meeting girls. Usually the ones you want the most are not in your immediate friends circle (I imagine the girl your talking about fits in this category).
