I see a lot of confusion around the line between confidence and cockiness. I’m not pretending to be some crazy ladies man but I’ve been around enough to know that yes it’s true, confidence really is one of the most attractive things. It seems to basically makes every other attractive feature of yours appear even more attractive. But the thing is confidence can be easily mistaken as cockiness and is about one of the biggest turn offs to anyone really.

Confidence doesn’t require a whole lot of change, and most of the change will come naturally. Confidence is understood well in this quote “happiness is not found in things you possess, but in what you have the courage release” (Nathanial Hawthorne). Happiness is a form of confidence, but it highlights one of the most important aspects of confidence; inner belief.

See a lot of guys think being confident will score them girls, ways of showing confidence might be buying a new crisp white shirt. The buying of the tshirt isn’t going to just make you confident, it’s the ability to be like ‘I’m going to look good in this shirt’ and genuinely feeling like you can pull it off. Your body language will display your confidence.

Real confidence doesn’t need to come across as over the top either to show you’re “more confident than your peers”. It could be as simple as “I feel comfortable enough to wear only my short shorts to the beach and not stress if people see me”. You’re happy with yourself and position. Confidence breeds happiness and happiness breeds confidence.
