Lately because of events in my personal life I’ve become much more actively learning about men’s rights movements.

I’ve noticed that there are many incredibly common arguments and logical fallacies that are used to attack and discredit us and wanted to see if there is any literature that examines these arguments and how best to handle them systematically.

I’ve noticed one thing a lot of people will do online or in person is brigade us with a flood of these fallacies and intentional misunderstandings to keep everything off-topic. I think having a systematic knowledge of these tactics would be very useful, since it would trim down the amount of time wasted re-establishing the same information with every person we talk to.

For example I’m someone who believes men and women should be equal, but I don’t identify as a feminist. When I say this often the first thing a feminist will say is “if you aren’t a feminist, you don’t believe in equality” despite the fact that I just stated the opposite. Every time I make a post about men’s rights there will be a handful of people that say this and it takes several detailed messages to establish why I feel the way I do even though it’s a fairly easy concept to state. Because of this I think it would be so much more efficient to have a copy/passable response ready to go when someone attempts to derail a conversation this way.

I can think of at least 10-20 other flavors of misunderstanding from men and women that are equally draining. Is there anything out there to combat these behaviors? If not would the people in this community be interested in some kind of pdf/online documentation if I put something together? (Either to reference or to help build)
