It's not about specific topics, but inducing proper emotions and context. You can't just learn it on the spot. Attend some social meetings, watch some higher level talk-shows to figure out how to positively trigger people and elevate the mood. In general, touch some positive, exciting, simple, laidback topics, don't come into conclusions, play with words, appeal to personal viewpoint. In your case, don't talk about college.
