tldr: Met some chill American dudes the night before, and had one of my best nights ever even when raining on a Wednesday night.

And got two instagrams of 9/10s 🙌

So I met two guys around my age who came here from America at a bar on Tuesday night. The bars were all very dead that day so I basically spent the whole night hanging out with them and we clicked instantly. We had a lot of things in common so it just came naturally and we decided to link up the next day (Wednesday) to go out and hit up a nightclub that I heard about.

We had a little pre game at a bar and went to the nightclub as soon as they opened. All of the staff there were super nice and let us in with no cover and even let us play pool for free.

One of the bartenders really liked us and we chatted for about an hour until people started rolling in.

Keep in mind that it was a Wednesday and raining so not many people showed up to the club, so we were just killing time playing pool for a few hours until about 11 pm.

During our game, the bartender came up to us and informed us of two beautiful girls that were just hanging out on the dance floor by themselves so we knew that we had to make a move.

The two other dudes with me did not speak Japanese very well so it was basically up to me to keep a conversation going with them, since they both only spoke Japanese.

I opened with “do you speak English?” in Japanese and went through the default small talk agenda whilst translating for the both sides.

I could feel that the two girls were kind of scared of us for a minute, since I can tell that their body language was kind of closed and physically was turning away from us.

Once I sensed that I told them that we were in a middle of a pool game so that we are going to go back and finish it and that we would be right back. They told us that they will be dancing and I told them that we will join them once our game is finished.

Long story short, we came back and danced with them, lowkey embarrassing ourselves in the beginning, but that seemed to make them open up to us and we were dancing together for the rest of the night.

In my opinion they were solid 9/10s and one of the hottest girls I’ve ever seen in my life. I was the translator for them and I was happy to show off my bilingual skills to them which they heavily complimented me on and made me feel good.

I got their Instagrams and asked if they would like to hang out with us again and they enthusiastically agreed, so hopefully they keep their promise and I get to see them again. 🤞

The fact that no one else at the club was around our age was a huge plus for us, and I learned an important lesson about how distance can completely change a girl’s perspective about you.

Another successful night out for me and now I have some friends to share the experience with, absolutely loving Japan so far.
