I've been dating a girl for three months who has been super flakey but also super affectionate when we are together, always talking about how she likes me and how we should hang out more, etc. She's hot. What drives me up the wall, however, is that she always cancels our plans even when we make them the night before and set an exact time. I've always kept cool by being non-reactive and just saying "okay, cool, whenever you feel better" without burning bridges. She always gets back to me later with the most bullshit excuses but always reschedules and invites me over when she's free. We have a great time when we meet (sex, etc.).
Last night, however, something happened that I don't know how to tolerate. We made plans to hang out the day before and I asked her to join me at an Indian restaurant that I really like. She told me she might be busy with work until late. I texted her saying that I'll get take out since the place closes at 10 and come over to her place later. She said that that was cool and told me to meet her at place at 11. Done. I get the takeout and show up at her place at 11. She usually takes a long time to get ready (like half an hour). So I wait half an hour in the car while she's saying that she's getting ready like she always does.
Another 15 mins and she comes out to tell me that she can't hang out. She says she has anxiety (an excuse she uses often) because she just had a fight with her sister and she wants to be alone. She asks me if I'm mad. I tell her that I'm not ecstatic and say that "If you have other plans, that's okay." This annoys her a bit and she says that she doesn't have any plans. She tells me that we can hang tomorrow and that she's really sorry and that she will call me back and that she will make it up to me. I nod and say goodbye.
Now, I know her well enough to know that the sister story is just a bullshit excuse because something better came along while I was driving over and she took it. She parties so it could've been her drug-dealer ex-boyfriend or whatever. Doesn't matter. What matters is that this is just so absolutely disrespectful that I pretty much have to drop her. What is the best way of going about this? I don't want to argue with her about this back and forth - she should understand that having me drive half an hour to place, wait for 45 mins and then be told that we cannot hang out is not something that I will tolerate.
I haven't texted her since I saw her last night. So far my options are:
If she texts with something like "Are we meeting up?": 1) "I'm really busy with work so probably not. Maybe after the summer when my schedule calms down." / "No. Shit's just too hectic in my life right now."
2) No answer. Radio silence.
3) "No. I've met someone and want to see where it goes."
4) "No. I don't think it's a good idea for us to hang out anymore."
1) kind of opens the door to meet later in the future for sex only (she's pretty damn hot) 2) and 3) are kind of passive aggressive and reactive 4) closes the door but might lead to apology (even though she's been doing this so much that i don't think she'll ever change)
I don't want to sound like a bitch by writing a huge sob story about how she hurt my feelings. Should I even entertain the idea of explaining to her why I don't want to hang out if she asks?
