you could employ the use of imagination:

make a fake memo of some sort and hand it to her personally, something funnyish
send her flowers with a playful note for her boyfriend
make a fake fun petition for the office and go to her first. tell her if she doesn't sign, the petition is doomed to fail because of course she is the ring-leader
go to extensive lengths to invent a project where the two departments could work together, get it approved with management, and choose her as liaison
make another fake petition
leave wacky notes at her desk from a secret admirer, maybe set a relatively hidden place in the office for her to reply

and of course the classic: grab yourself by the cojones and go directly to her and ask her out like men used to do

You don’t need to wait for signs or look for any excuses ever. You simply tell the woman the following to start the conversation:

You: Hey, i want to ask you something real quick before i go”
Her: What
You: “Well i saw you and i loved your style (or anything specific about her) so i thought i I want to get to know you because i would regret it if i didn’t try, is that cool with you?”
Answer 1: Yes sure, nice to meet you…
Answer 2: Sorry i have a boyfriend/not interested.
Your response to answer 2: “That’s cool, just had to try thank you though, bye bye”

See how simple it is? You ask for consent right away like i just show you, and that way you don’t have to read her mind or make interpretations of her behaviour.
