She would call me on the phone to pick fights for about a year until I told her that we would only communicate by txt. That ended her attempts to fight.

Make sure the settlement agreement contains provisions for communications, non-disparagement, child exchanges, limit communications during your time, process for reimbursements, etc. It won't stop conflict but it will reduce it.
Focus on yourself, first. Don't react, don't get angry, don't show emotion, don't engage in pettiness - except by strategy and design.
Think transactional. Get out of the marriage mindset. For every ask, she must provide a "give" of something, no matter how small. The exchange must be agreed in the same communication as the ask. She wants to drop off a few hours late, you ask for an extra day.
Set the tone from the beginning. Call her out on any and all breaches of the agreement, even minor ones. For major ones, give her one or two strikes, then have a little war chest at the ready to hold her in contempt.

I would add "lead by example" but we all know how super ineffective that is.
