Apologies for writing a fucking novel. It took a while to type, so just fucking read it.

Have clear intent. If you want to hook up with women, you need to approach them with clear sexual intent. They may not necessarily be into you, but you should not leave them any plausible deniability as far as your intentions go. Approach them as lovers, not friends. Having long conversations about a woman's job, family or pet is something a friend would do. A lover would cut straight to the chase.

Once you establish your sexual intent, you have to stick to it and escalate it to kino (the techniques of gradually transitioning from non-sexual touching during conversation to making out).

If you get rejected, don't dwell on it or show any negative reactions. Just smile, dismiss yourself and talk to the next girl that catches your eye. Also, don't be afraid to dismiss yourself if you feel the conversation isn't going well.

Persevere and stay on course. Women will shit test you to see how well you handle yourself. They may tease, play hard-to-get or tell you they have a boyfriend (while rubbing up on you and twerking in a dress that needs two hairdos). Women also love plausible deniability - they can't say they want you - they need you to chase them so they can say it was all your doing, thus relieving them of all responsibility and agency.

Exercise your funny bone. Practice your witty banter. If you're not naturally "funny" then learn - it is a skill that can be honed. Watch stand-up comedy. This is important because if you make a mistake or come on too strong, you can cover it with humor and still be in the game. Also, being funny lets you get away with saying more provocative, sexual things to women. However, like any technique, humor takes a while to use effectively - it's easy to overdo and women don't want to fuck a total clown.

Avoid flattery unless it's blatantly sexual. Make it all about you. Instead of saying "I like your dress", say "I like the way your ass looks in that dress". Instead of "What are you drinking?" say "I'm thirsty. Order us some drinks!" Catering to women and kissing their asses will backfire because:

It lowers your status in her eyes. If you're trying too hard to impress her, it establishes that she's the prize and she will most likely try to get away with as much as possible before leaving your company to find a man that won't pander to her (a high-status man).
It's boring. She's been handed flattering compliments since before she grew tits. Telling her how beautiful, smart and funny she is will trip her bullshit detector - especially if it isn't true. Women respond better to men who can playfully challenge them with an outcome-independent IDGAF attitude.
Women aren't there for compliments. That's what Facebook selfies are for. If she's out in a club or bar alone, it's because she wants to socialize and meet guys. Her agenda is the same as yours, but as the man you are expected to do the heavy lifting (approach, converse, escalate and close). She doesn't want you to waste time on that bullshit when she could be drinking and making out instead. Don't disappoint her with that shit.

Start by approaching single women who are there by themselves. Approaching women who are part of a group of women is hard-mode, because you must not only win over her, but her friends especially. Women are helpless against peer pressure, so even if she wanted to fuck you on the dance floor, the group has the final say. If you do meet a hot girl in a group, get her contact info and text her after she goes home - she will be free of her friends and more likely to act on her urges without social consequences.

Don't lead with your wallet. This is a big one. Women aren't parasites and they aren't stupid - if you offer them free food, drinks and expensive dates then OF COURSE they will accept them. Who doesn't like free shit? the problem with this is that once you do this, you establish yourself as a provider - a resource to be used. Why would they fuck you when they could just get a nice meal and some drinks instead? Lovers are for fucking and providers are there to provide for them. Make sure they pay for their own drinks or take turns buying rounds. Beware of women who "forgot their wallet" or refuse to pay "because it's the man's job".

Do the best with what you've got to work with. Dress nice, style your hair with hair products, groom your facial hair, wear cologne (sparingly) and pop a breath mint. Be the most attractive option you can possibly be. Play to your strengths when you step out and work on your weaknesses in your free time.

You will eventually learn what works for you and what doesn't. You will develop your own style with the data you gather from your approaches. The only way to learn is to get out there and take your lumps. Your success ratio will suck at first, but it will get better. Remember: guys who are good with women aren't good because they never get rejected - they are good DESPITE being rejected.

Spend a few hours reading the sidebar on /r/theredpill and you'll have a much better idea of what to improve on. In general, everyone can benefit from:

Get in the best physical shape you're willing to achieve. Nearly anyone can lose a little weight and gain a little muscle. Get started today.
Pick up a hobby that's active and interesting. Think surfing, rock climbing (lots of indoor climbing gyms around), sand volleyball, etc. Helps you get in better shape, provides motivation for workouts, gets you around and interacting with other people.
Pay attention to your appearance. Pick up a men's magazine and find out what looks good on you, what hairstyle fits, etc. You don't have to go crazy, but step it up a notch. If you're wearing ratty t-shirts and old jeans around, for example, buy a couple of fitted collared shirts and upgrade the jeans.
Focus on being successful at work/in school. It's much easier to have success with women if you aren't flipping burgers.
Develop what's called "frame." In short, this is the feeling that you're comfortable in your own skin and comfortable interacting with other people. Strong frame means you keep composed and in good humor no matter what. Women aren't attracted to men who hem and haw and stammer the moment adversity hits; they're attracted to men who can handle it smoothly. The sidebar has much more on this.
De-pedestalize women. If she turns you down, whatever, next weekend you can find 10 more women just like her.

This is a non-comprehensive list. Take it as things to pay particularly close attention to when reading the sidebar articles.

And most importantly, keep in mind that parts of the red pill will play more to your strengths than others. Take what works for you, leave what doesn't.
