Might not be the right sub (maybe relationship_advice can help) but I will answer.

First off, you need to learn to defend yourself to this guy. As guys we do make jokes against our friends but there is a clear line to when it's just a funny light-hearted joke among men to being the butt of someone's jokes. I have a friend similar to yours, likes making people the butt of his jokes. Few weeks back he tried doing it to me. First 2 jokes I laughed and let it slide but after the second joke I personally kept a countdown (i.e. if he did 3 more jokes I'd make a scene). He did the first and I kind of made a comment that made it clear he should move on from me. He kept going after the 2nd or 3rd joke I went off on him and even said jokes of my own to him. What I notice is guys who like making you the butt of their jokes hate when it gets back to them so when he got offended at the first joke I said I basically called him a sensistive pussy and that was that. You can do one of two things, pull him aside and tell him to cut it out. Or make a scene in front of everybody and call him out. I bet most of your friends have noticed this shit but since it's none of their busines they dont say shit. Im willing to bet the girl has noticed it. This type of guy is cool now and he has a good social cirlce now because it's college and people feel they can get into parties through him but people tend to avoid that type of person after college.

As for the girl, don't let the idea of being around this guy deter you from this girl. I say go for it. It's not like your going to marry her or they will be friends forever. She might even feel similar about the guy as you do. If you guys end up dating and she asks you your feelings n the guy be honest. Say you guys are just group friends and you guys are cool but he tends to pick on someone and not stop so at times you avoid him. Do you know how this girl feels about this guy? Could be she stays around him because she can get into parties through him. Once she is done with parties or graduates college she wont want to hangout around him.

How about don't. I mean, if you're worried now then it will manifest itself in the relationship and not only will you break up but you could even lose the friendship group. Why are you even in a group with someone who makes you feel bad?
