More men cheat than women when they're much older. Think of the married man who has sex with escorts behind his wife's back. Think of the married man who has an exit affair with someone much younger because the wife is too old to have kids.

That goes without saying.

Is emotional abuse on the same trend as cheating?

Do much younger women tend to be more emotionally abusive than much younger men because the latter would do anything to not be lonely?

Do much older men tend to be more emotionally abusive than much older women because of a shortfall in relationship experience? "Younger men are nicer."

If so, could this be a justification for age gap relationships for both older women and older men?
