In regard to the recent Skai Jackson domestic violence arrest incident:
Over at the Fauxmoi subreddit, they had a post about the Skai Jackson domestic violence arrest and there were feminists on her side portraying her as the actual victim based on their feminist domestic violence research.... Below is a comment from a feminist, with 261 likes and counting (dismissing male victims by saying Skai Jackson is a little, vulnerable pregnant woman and people use "men can be abused too" as a supposed excuse to ignore how common male on female violence is):
"Y’all are going to down vote me for this but I’m going to say what I want to say regardless. I’m a feminist and have dedicated years of research into domestic violence. And time and time again, when women are being battered by their male partners, when the police are called, often it’s the woman that’s painted out to be the aggressor. One famous case of this is Gabby Petito. She was abused and later killed by her boyfriend. But days before she was murdered, SHE was pulled over and interrogated by the police for “abusing” her boyfriend and being “hysterical”. Skaï Jackson is pregnant. And statistics show that women are more likely to be abused when they’re pregnant. What harm can a vulnerable pregnant woman who’s only 5 feet tall to do a man who’s twice her height? Let’s have our wits about us. Often people want to “Men can be abused too” their way out of acknowledging the reality and commonality of male violence against women. I’m praying for her safety and hope she finds a way to leave that man."
"More people need to read up on DARVO too".
