Full text: I asked out the guy I like last week and this is how it went:

Hello guy I like, Happy Tuesday! I was wondering if you would like to join me for a drink after work this week? Perhaps Thursday or Friday x Him: Hey, my name, all good? Him: Unfortunately I'm back studying full time, so I'm pretty busy now. Anyway we will be seeing each other on Saturday for my sister's birthday party correct? Me: Hi guy I like, all good thanks. Was hoping to get some alone time with you. But no problem at all. Him: In this case, I will see you on Saturday!

There ended up being no party, but he shouted group drinks which I didn't go to because I felt like he rejected me.

I saw him yesterday as the party got postponed to Sunday and it was like normal, he was still making eye contact with me and talking to me. I'm just a bit sad as a really liked this one. But there's been no follow up from him about spending some time alone together and I have already made my move so don't want to ask again.

He is studying for an MBA right now so he is genuinely busy but I'm thinking most people find time for the people they are interested in.
