For those who don't know, mono is pretty bad as it makes you a lazy piece of shit. I am no longer able to work out or focus due to all the medication.

Doctor also told me no heavy lifting due to the possibility of rupturing my spleen.

Not working out for two months will suck, but I've come to terms with it. Mentally I have accepted the disease and I feel like it's just a bump in the road for me.

My question is how do I have the fastest road to recovery? For those of you who had mono, how did you fight it and what helped? I will of course listen to what the doctor says, but all this medication is leaving me drowsy and mentally unbalanced. Any opinions on mono are welcome.
