Honestly, why can't people just stop making excuses for girls lagging behind boys? Like if a girls fall behind boys, it's because of gender bias but if boys fall behind girls, it's because "girls are better students". This is not fair to boys. Boys have been outperforming girls in SAT for years. And even, this article admits that, boys outperform girls in most subjects other than English, especially STEM subjects and History. Society never wants to admit girls are wrong. Maybe girls are falling behind because, they get distracted by subjects. Isn't it gender bias that teachers literally mark girls higher for the same grades? How come that isn't changing? Tbh, girls who go off to college without doing the SAT and getting better grades due to teacher bias shouldn't even be in college at all and don't deserve their place. What if girls are falling behind in STEM subjects because, they aren't focused on those subjects? What so, if boys fall behind in some subjects, it's because girls are better students but if girls fall behind, it's because of gender bias? Horrible how society never wants to admit girls are wrong.

Girls seem to be falling behind in a lot of subjects and a lot of tests too but for some reason, society just gives them the benefit of the doubt. It's really ironic how boys literally outperform girls in most subjects but girls get the most credit. And boys outperforming girls in math and science is not a myth. It's well documented. It's a myth that girls are outperforming boys. People keep saying "it's a myth that boys are better than math". More like "it's a myth that girls are outperforming boys at school" . Maybe articles should start talking about how it's a myth that girls outperform boys in subjects.
