When a bunch of us were in college, we parked our car in US side and walked over to Tijauna for some fun. We didn’t want to deal with the weekend bumper to bumper traffic on the way back to the US. We were wasted drinking dos equis beer, at that time, it was only $1 and rarely did they ask for ID. On the way back to the US, border patrol profiled us as college kids bringing back drugs. Each of the four of us were led to a private room for a strip search one at a time. The process was simple. I had to removed my clothes. Stank naked in front of a guy. The most embarrassing part was when I had to lift my balls and spread my butt for him to check for hidden drugs. Fortunately, we were not dumb enough to bring drug over the border. Now, at 27, I still remembered that day vividly. We were not arrested, we did not give the border patrol permission to strip search us or any record what they did. Did we lose our rights to object? What would happen then? Arrested? or just conduct a pat down of our other clothing?
