I posted this before not too long ago but it was deleted as it got reported for supposedly "promoting hate speech," even though that wasn't my intention. Hopefully this doesn't get deleted or reported. There's actual hateful postings that should be reported and dealt with accordingly all over this platform on various subs.

Curious as to what peoples' thoughts on these misandrist concepts that misandrists often cite as examples of hardships faced by women and why men's issues by comparison don't matter. And lately I've been seeing even more of them all over social media.

  • Patriarchy
  • Rape Culture
  • Female Oppression
  • Systemic/Institutional Misogyny
  • Male Privilege
  • Male Domination
  • Gender pay gap
  • Systemic violence against women (particularly by men)
  • Glass Ceilings
  • Boys Club(s)

Do any of you here feel these concepts have any basis in reality? While I don't doubt in third-world and underdeveloped nations they may well exist (women as well as men alike have it awful in such parts of the world), in Western nations there's very little to no evidence to suggest any of it to be real. It just comes off as more victimhood enforcement from misandrists and wanting to deflect from male issues and marginalize them. It's their way of spreading their "women most affected, men don't matter" way of thinking.

It's again not my intent to spread hate with this post, so hopefully it isn't reported as such. I'm not denying women have their share of hardships and struggles just like men do, both have their own challenges and uphill battles in life. Both are victims of terrible crimes committed by offenders of both genders. But when misandrists evoke these concepts it comes off as them just playing victim and wanting to brush aside issues also faced by men.
