a) he was trying to make you happy

b) you react poorly when he says no so he has learnt to just say yes and grumble about it later. I agree it’s very annoying when someone does that but if you don’t let them feel comfortable saying no then they won’t say no

c) he has poor boundaries and that’s a character flaw of his. Can you deal with that
