If she's talking about gender stereotypes, it's definitely a projection: girls are much more likely to be sexist than boys, and when I mean sexist, I'm not talking about ideas like "boys don't cry" or anything like that, but very horrible things like "it's okay to see a boy naked, but not if it's a girl", or always trying to avoid boys because "girls are better".

This is something I experienced when I was very young, it was the first "slap" in the face that showed me that the world wasn't really for gender equality, but I was too stubborn.
