This is my second Reddit post I have ever made so I hope you can excuse any grammar or structural problems.

As the title suggests, I have a simple speech assignment for my intro to communications class. I would like to use this opportunity to really work on my public speaking skill. I have been thinking about a few topics, but I would like to challenge myself by not picking a simple topic such as one my friend picked: "How to relieve stress in two simple methods".

In order to get a good grade the only limitations that I have is 1) it has to have a topic with good exigence with my undergrad aged peers and 2) Have two reasons to support this claim, backed by primary research articles. I am currently thinking something that has to do with health science for example: Why a good power lifting routine is exceptionally better for health compared to a chronic running routine and low weight program.

Then I thought, maybe I should challenge myself more since I am trying to get rid of public speaking nervousness and at the same time maybe sneak a few red pill examples into my speech. So that is where Asktrp comes in, would you guys be willing to help me with some good topics that would be challenging and stand out from the other cookie cutter speeches that will surely be given.

I hope this does not come out as a "do my homework" topic, I would really like to make the most out of this exercise and will be doing all of the research and preparing myself.
