I have been doing meetup groups here in NYC but most of the men are either there because their gf wanted to get them out of the house or it is guys who seem weird or awkward.

I have made a couple guy friends in the past month but after awhile they dont answer a text asking to hang out and it fizzles out I guess.

Oddly enough I have been meeting girls at the meetups who give me their number unprompted but I dont want to go on dates every weekend; I just want to hang out with some cool guys.
