I don't think this is "whining about men" as a whole. It seems more like they're wanting closure and solidarity with other victims of the abusive situation that they seem to have found themselves in. I understand that people can lie on the internet, but there's a difference between man-hating and having a reasonable problem with a singular man who's caused you pain.

I could be wrong, though.
