Resources for men and boys that are suffering is great. I fear that there will be some resistance by feminists because honest acknowledgement of the suffering men and boys face will show feminist ideology to be a lie

If violence against men and boys is truly taken seriously, then the feminist lie that women suffer more gender based violence will be exposed, the lie that femicide is more of an issue than androcide will be exposed, and the myth that it’s somehow more dangerous to be a woman will be exposed. I don’t anticipate that feminists will let the truth wash away their lies that easily.

Overall, it’s a step in the right direction. But there needs to be social and political support for that direction, because there will be a lot of resistance.

Its an important bill because male SA, DV, trafficking victims being classed in with female victims is a disgrace. It trivializes them and makes it harder to tailor supports to them as boys and men.

The fact they're lumped in means the supports are defaulting to female needs and will be carbon copied across to a male which will be limited in use at best but useless in many cases.

But will it involve MEN and not controlled by vile femenists ? As in controlled by men. Wamen should have absolutely NOTHING to do with it and be nowhere near it, so unless that is the case. Which I highly doubt. We'll see. Still good to hear. Or good to hear if women have zero influence on anything about it.

Looks like it’s a Private Members Bill - coming from an Opposition MP.

These can get up, but aside from the fact that most votes in Parliament are held by the political opponents of this party and may vote against it simply on party lines, the Government can set the agenda and slow down the consideration of this bill behind the basic government business. That alone will drag it out. When private members bills get pushed quickly through Parliament, like the hunting ban, or the Daylight Saving bill here in Western Australia (that was particularly obvious since they got it through in the last 3 weeks Parliament sat in that year) it’s something those in the Government want to push but lack the guts to openly say they’re doing it. I can’t see this happening since 46% of Labour members are women, most likely overwhelming feminist women, and the rest of them want to be on good terms with their feminist colleagues.

I have a feeling that the Tories are trying to wedge Labour on this in the hope it would encourage younger guys to consider voting for them as happened with Trump.

Let’s see how it turns out.
