Even the first slide isn't correct, Female on Male intimate partner homicide makes up around one-fourth of the total initmate partner homicides in both the United States and Australia (Note: The US data does not imply whether the perpetrator was of the same or the opposite sex, based on the Australia data the homosexual intimate partner homicide was very less compared to heterosexual).

Back in the 1970's, the rates were almost equal with men making up around ~45% of the victims. I heard someone trying to infer that the reason for this could've been the setting up of DV shleter, which would alow a lot of female abusers to portray themselves as victim without having to kill their spouse.

Apart from this research has also shown that if IPV related suicides are counted, then the total number of deaths for men and women are similar if not more for men.

Additionally, more public, social, and legal support can also be another reason why lesser women are killing their husbands, since they no longer need to. (I think people who made comments like these are a good example)

With the way people portray it in media, you would think it's 99% male to 1% female, but is clear that is not the case, and men are still at serious risk of death after IPV.

A lot of their comments also make it seem like they refuse to consider men as human beings and are aloof from reality.
