According to the linked story the man is no longer employed by Goodyear. It doesn't say why. Was he fired because his wife is dead? Because he was allegedly unfaithful?

So I goggled and another story says this:

“We decline to comment further,” the company told the Journal, adding Delaney didn’t receive a severance package after being terminated.

Apparently (alleged) infidelity has at least two different prices.
