So Norah Vincent wrote a book called "self-made man", after living as a man for over a year, using no hormones only acting and prosthetics.

She described her book as revolutionary, because finally women can learn the truth about how hard it is to be a man.

Like really? Males have been telling them that for decades or centuries even.

Women claim that "women aren't taken seriously by soceity". Surely its the other way around? Men aren't taken seriously by society.

But really what is going on in the head of a person who is refusing to listen? Especially when whats being said is so obviously true. Heres my idea:

When you speak... they just instantly and constantly invent lies that cover up what you are saying. Its like they have a lying machine embedded in their head, that they themselves invented. Its like trying to talk with a loudspeaker screaming over you. Thats what "not listening" means.

Its a very active process. It would be easier for them to listen but they'd rather constantly lie.

Cassie Jaye admitted to something like this. Everytime a man would make an argument that disproves feminism... she'd be looking for the real secret evil reason behind what they were REALLY saying. At least she admitted it and changed her attitude. Which is good on her.

tl;dr "not listening" is a very active process that takes energy, a lot more than actually just listening.
