You can't. People like to pretend that you can, but your intelligence is largely predetermined by genetics. A lot of people don't want to believe that for obvious reasons.

People do have natural ability, but these abilities are scaled up and down with overall intelligence. Think of a mountain range rising and falling as one, with each peak being a skill.

Still, you have physical potential. This is why you'll still see blacks with attractive women. These things matter. Fulfill your physical potential. This is dependent upon your height and your build. The taller and broader the better, If you're 5'10'' but jacked you're still better off than a 6'1'' guy that's skinny fat.

This is analagous to skills/intelligence. Even though a 6'1'' guy would destroy a 5'10'' guy when it came to gaining women's attention on a physical basis if both were at the same level of physical fitness, if the 5'10'' guy works on his fitness, and the 6'1'' guy does not, then the 5'10'' guy is better. If someone with less potential takes the time to learn guitar, then they're better.

I understand that this isn't strictly what you're talking about, but I really don't think women care about raw intelligence at all when looking for sexual partners. They only care about what you have accomplished.

You can start by exercising your brain, e.g. read TIL and when you ask yourself questions about things your curious about and google them and spend time reading the answers

It sounds to me like you were the kid who didn't pay attentionin school for whatever reasons, but it takes a smart person to realize they don't know! Funny huh, but that's the truth, so you are far from lost bro.

"Curiosity is a Gift" so make the most of learning about the things which interest you, just like you're doing with TRP but in other areas too

all the best mate, start exercising that brain and just like your body, it too will respond and grow!

The more you know about the more you can chat about and that helps you meet people, so there's that too!

Your reaching out for others, when you should be working on your self. You have no friends.. they are necessarily going to help you, work on you, get a hobby, read a book, force yourself to be in social settings.. but be genuine.

I have a huge problem being genuine.. I took a social dance for 3 semesters, my acting "seemed" somewhat real but I really gave 2 shits about it, and it did not even pay off. Basically it was a huge waste of time, but I did learn a few moves.

At the end of the day, just work on you and dont force it.

If you're looking for bon mots, then I recommend the following.

*Watch some RP standup comedy (Bill Burr, Patrice, Sam Kinision). LURN from it.

*Read up on quotes from Churchill, JFK and Reagan (the witty ones, not the serious political ones). There was a series of books years ago called "The Wit and Wisdom of [Name of Famous Guy]". See if you can find them.

To avoid L'esprit de l'escalier (coming up with the perfect riposte after you've left the party and are on the staircase), have a couple of comebacks at the ready for when people insult you. Here are a couple of "go tos":

When someone has insulted you, badly or roughly, "What do you use for birth control, YOUR PERSONALITY?"

For more mild insults (deliver this one dryly): "You're not trying to hurt my feelings, are you?" (emphasize 'feelings').

The good news is, you can improve, the bad news is, it usually takes a lot of rough experience.
