There is a subtle blame put on men for not putting up with a crazy (cringe word), abusive partner. Whenever a man does something awful to a woman they are quick to denounce all men as being predators. A man dealing with a mentally unstable partner ? Did they consider that they endured lifelong trauma ? The sympathy is handed out entirely based on gender and not on the situation that occured. It's subtle, blink and you barely see it, but the misandry is there.
